I envy marketers. No, seriously - it takes talent to so skillfully pour garbage into people's mass consciousness. Every year, millions of people fall for the same stupid trick called "Black Friday". "Only today and right now, 80% discount on an item that cost $10 without a discount, and with the discount costs... $10".
"Black Friday" is the biggest capitalist scam in human history. The great day of consumerism and spending money. People wait for this day every year to spend their money on things they don't need. "Honey, this table costs $800 without a discount, I bought it for $200, so I saved $600". No, you just threw away $200 on something that marketers pushed on you.
Dozens of video proofs of sellers putting fake discount labels, hundreds of examples, but people still fall for it and still buy. Maybe that's how it's supposed to be: the rich take from the poor, and thus society balances itself, I don't know. "There's a sucker born every minute".
