hope in vain for change
A random post in the feed, some harmless quote, thought, or sentence, a click in the head, a burst of neurons, adrenaline, anticipation. You quickly get out of bed and, almost jumping with excitement, go to create, improve, explore. Anticipation... Yes, that's the word I would use to describe this feeling. The anticipation of change is a wonderful feeling that usually lasts only a few hours or days. But can it be prolonged, and if so, how?
As strange as it may sound, your internal model of the world is constantly changing, and your consciousness feels these changes. Any actions that you consider truly right directly affect the development of this world model. Do you truly believe that green is beautiful, that you can lift 150 kg on a barbell, write an essay for a writing competition, or win a local short-distance race? Yes, if you firmly believe in it. Confidence, madness, dedication to the cause - what exactly affects the firmness in decision-making? Or is it all at once?
One thing I know for sure - this feeling needs to be maintained, otherwise it will fade as quickly as it ignited. Without it, all attempts to change anything will be in vain, because you will stop believing in what you believe.
